When someone asks something like: Jewish people what is the significance of the menorah.
A Christian might answer It is pointless because Jesus came and there is no reason to celibrate Hannaka.
Or another example: Christians what is the proof you use to say that Jesus actually came and died and rose again?
A Christian might answer: Because the bible says it is true. You should belive the bible because if you don't you will burn in hell.
Neither of these make since.
Will the kind of people who answer questions like the 1st one only answer questions like the second one, and please not answer like the person in the second one did?
Just Wondering.

I am not judging Christians I'm judging answers I saw. Those answers are real answers that I saw.
To the person with comments about atheist saying that and being weird like that, That is also true, I just see less of those than ones like these.

well first of all you dont know whos really chrisitan here
just by what they type...you'll have to look at what
each person has said over time here to really tell...
i could tell you i am 6 foot 6 inches tall very handsome
have green eyes...and eat burritos everyday....and
you'll never know if i am telling you the truth....
secondly...there are many "levels" of christian and age here
someone whom is 12 and has been going to church fo 1-2
months isn't gonna answer you quite as well as someone say
40 years old and saved for 20 years...
if you want to avoid the bad stuff i suggest you sit down and
talk to a preacher in your town even more than one preacher
so you can come to a kind of balance over each issue...

In reading your question, it becomes obvious that you may need to know more facts about these religions
In the first case, that would seem an improbable answer. Christians generally have no problem with the significance of the menorah. It is not counter to Christian dogma, as it signifies the Jewish victory over the Maccabees.
In the second case, there is a huge gaping hole in that logic. Both the new and old testaments of the bible are historical documents. The crucifixion and resurrection of Christ is documented by multiple authors and it's veracity is difficult to question because ALL of the accounts of this agree. People believe the half truths they read in CNN. The bible is so much more believable, since everybody has agreed on the account of events for centuries.
If you are displeased with how some people answer questions such as those you reference, we are somewhat in agreement. There is no reason to answer in such an incomplete fashion when facts and history really explain things better. Glad you brought this up.

They answer that way because they don't have an understanding of the bible. The bible teaches that not all shall be Christian. The bible teaches that all persons who live righteously shall inherit the kingdom of God; some for eternity, some from generation to generation. The bible teaches that there are many gods, but only one God. The words are spelled the same in English, but different words in the original tongues. But since we do not speak the original tongues, we cannot accept the fact that the bible says there is one God, and still have many gods. The bible teaches us not to speak evil of other gods. It is clear from Genesis 1:26 that God is not alone. Some choose to believe that he was talking to Jesus, but the bible does not say that. Exodus 22:28 tells us there are other gods, and we should not speak evil of them. Whether we choose to believe it or not, Martin Luther, John Wesley, Billy Graham, etc., are not the final authority. The bible teaches us that knowledge shall increase (Daniel 12:4). Revelation 10:7 teaches us that there is a mystery surrounding God that shall not be revealed until the days of the seventh angel. So, anyone who is not still learning, but believes he/she knows it all, will be lost.

There are people here of all ages and walks of life. Some of them are young in their faith. Some have followed a path that allows no growth. Whatever the case, there seems to be no lack of zeal.
It is important that we do not limit our understanding to the faceless words in a forum. When my children were two years old they could tell me quite honestly that two plus two equals four. They told me other things as truth as well, but my own responsibility prompted me to look at their loving faces and come to the realization that they still had a bit to learn.

probably for the same reason some atheists answer God doesn't exists when a Christian poses a question about God. Each thinks their belief is more valuable than the others. If you think your opionon is more important then the question is always going to be answered that way.

Bible is True because it's author alone is trustworthy.
A Christian never believes the Bible just to escape the burning hell (which was originally created for satan and his followers)
A christian believes the Bible because it illustrates about "The Greatest Love" in the world- The Love of Jesus Christ,
which brought the Holiest of the Holy to this sinful world,
which made the mightiest of the mighty as a lowminded and humble,
which agreed to hung on the cross to experience the bitterness of the eternal fire just becuase of the sins of mankind.
Love of Jesus Christ - The greatest of all. What an amazing love!!!

I answer questions according to the wisdom God has given me, to share biblical truths that can set men (& women, too, of course) free.
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you, . . ." (1 Peter 3:15 KJV)

I don't think you should judge Christians because we don't know everything. just because a person may be a Christian doesn't mean they know the answer to every question. We are ignorant as well. We don;t know everything.

You know what doesn't make sense?
This statement:
"Neither of these make since."
I know plenty of Christians who actually do observe Hanukkah.
As to the other questions, we believe God's word. Sorry if that offends you.
