should i do this for my boyf?

my boyf wants me to wear dresses, which i dont do cos i just feel weird and think i look stupid in them. I wish he understood this, and it makes me feel like he wants me to be different.
should i do this for him on certain occasions or just tell him to accept me the way i am?

Accept u the way u are... but the best is like if u and ur bf can somehow learn to give and take .. like he wants to see u in dress and u want him to quit smoking (for example) and stuff. That would be even better if u intend to continue your relationship in the long run. Good Luck!

Honestly, he should accept you the way you are, but I don't think it would hurt to throw on a dress a few times. It's just clothing and outward appearance, not who you are inside. And, sweetheart, I'm sure that you'd look great in one, there's no need to feel uncomfortable. Wish you the best..

I totally understand where you're coming from.. my bf does the same thing, (but not with dresses) I think it's important to please him and get him all excited (because it does make him happy to see you looking all sexy in a dress), but not if it makes you uncomfortable or feeling un-sexy or insecure. Maybe you can just dress up on occasions for him. It will be a happy medium, and relations are all about compromise!

I could understand for special occasions. You never know. You might find a few dresses you look good in. When I was dating my husband, he wanted me to wear pink things (shirts, dresses, etc) and I thought I looked horrible in them. Well come to find out, I looked pretty good in pink.

Do what you are most comfortable in, but I would give it a chance. What would it hurt to try a dress on, right?

I would wear a dress on special occasions to wow him every once in a while. ^^ That's what I'd do but if you're really uncomfortable, just tell him that. It isn't that bad. I hate dresses too but I do wear em at weddings and special places. Most guys would think you're beautiful if you don't waer one often. ^^ Hope I helped.

You should definitely wear a dress for him . think about all the things he does for you that he might not like im sure there are plenty of them, relationships are give and take and wearing a dress is minor compared to some other sh!t i heard about

i am not going to advocate that you wear them all the time for him, but once in a blue moon, it might be a treat for him. Also you said you lthink you look stupid in them, maybe he thinks you look beautiful in it.

But in general, if you are not comfortable, you should not be forced. Use it as a bargaining chip, you will wear dresses bit more if he does this....

Hey it sort of depends i guess. I mean if its because it turns him on then hey it doesn't hurt every now and then. I mean on the rare occasions i get to pick out my gf's clothing, i always go for mini skirts because i enjoy her body so much. But if you feel it may be because he doesn't except you for you then you just need to sit him down and set it straight.

I would wear them on special occasions for him(like your anniversary, his birthday, v-day etc) You need to be comfortable also. Dont wear them all the time, he needs to understand that you arent too comfy in them. tell him you want him to wear heels when yall go out and see what he says lol
