I'm trying to find some books in the vain of "The God Delusion", "How we believe" by Michael Shermer. I'm really trying to show the faults in Christian logic or lack of logic. Any help?

That's pretty funny. I thought atheists were all about tolerance. Why do you have to proselytize to get someone out of Christianity? And why do you need a book to do it? Isn't it self-evident, the way you claim? And if you're so smart, why do you have to ask people on Yahoo to find a book?

BTW your efforts are doomed. Come to think of it, so are you, unless you repent. "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea." Mark 9:42

I can't speak for everybody, but these are the ones that helped me:

--The Age of Reason, by Thomas Paine

--Born Again Skeptic's Guide To The Bible, by Ruth Hurmence Green

--Losing Faith In Faith: From Preacher To Atheist, by Dan Barker

--Anything by Robert Ingersoll

--Anything by Starhawk

--The Mists of Avalon, by Marion Zimmer Bradley

The first four are deistic/atheistic, the last two are pagan. I've also skimmed through "God is not great" by Christopher Hitchens - haven't read the whole thing, but I like what I've seen of it.

That's great that you want to show them a lack of logic. "The God Delusion" is a good one for this purpose. After reading it you should have a firm grasp of what a logically fallacy called a straw man argument is.

I'm sure if you think logically you will be able to find the books you are seeking.

I think the bible is the best book to get someone out. It's what got me out. The stories they expect you to believe? I mean seriously....

We know God entirely through faith - not logic in the least. So you are wasting your time.

Hbr 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Jhn 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

See any logic in there?

Actually, the bible is the greatest force ever created for furthering atheism.
