Jesus was raised from the dead... sounds like necromancy to me.

Yes I know necromancy is communication with the dead, but in the witchcraft community it seems to be used synonymously with raising the dead.

Witchcraft, depending on whether you are a witch or a warlock, comes from a pagan religion. Though Jesus was raised from the dead, he was raised by God and ascended in Heaven to join Him.
Witches do not believe in God, they believe in the goddess and god. And warlocks are those who belong to the Church of Satan, they worship Satan not God, but know that God exists.

Necromancy is the contacting of spirits for the purpose of fortune-telling.
Which has about as much to do with the physical Resurrection of Christ as beans do to apple butter.

Witchcraft's power comes from the devil. Jesus' resurrection was by the power of God. The difference is in the power source.
