What "new age" practices are you into, and why does it bother you? You make it sound like a bad habit, like biting your nails.

Are you allergic to incense? Don't like shiny crystals? Get rid of 'em.

Are afraid of something? Worried you've somehow attracted unwanted attention? Have someone cleanse and bless your house, and then stop doing whatever it was you did.

Seriously, new age practices, by and of themselves are not at the level of a cult. Just stop. Find a hobby like trains or needlework or painting or coffee-shop gossip or cards. Get something else to occupy your attention and the new age stuff will fade.

Well, you can watch videos of others that left it,and take or leave the road they took if you aren't interested in Christianity.Hard to walk away from all that stuff without finding help somewhere.Keep an open mind. Also, there's a good book by the late Randall N.Baer called "Inside the New Age Nightmare" you could check out.

It sounds like you're just into some habitual modes of thinking - like a rut, that are perceptual, just like cynicism and skepticism can be perceptual habits. Is that right?

If I'm right, work on changing the way you perceive things - quit your old haunts, toss out the trappings of things that weigh you down, and (most difficult part) talk about something else. Find new places to go, new interests... just like moving into a new town.

If I'm wrong, just chuck out everything I said. I don't know what I'm talking about anyway.

The New Age Movement has been described as 'Eastern mysticism dressed in white man's clothing.' A lot of white people get caught up in it due to the sudden resurgence in interest in Eastern philosophies, culture, religions & practices.

But it is evil per se. So you are wise to want to come out of it.

However, because of your involvement in its practices, like chanting mantras, yoga, transcendental meditation, feng shui, etc. you have actually 'opened the door' for demonic infestation in your life. I think this is why you are finding it a struggle to come out. The demons will always put up a fight...and only Jesus can set you free.

However, since you have stated that you don't want to become a Christian, I will not be able to teach you how to be delivered from the evil hold of the New Age spirits.

Let us know if you change your mind.

What "new age practises"? Take some responsibility for your life and make your own choices. If you don't want to do something, don't. Don't blame "new age" crap for your shortcomings!
