Conception... from there on the genetic make-up of that human being is already in place.

Abortion is legalized murder. And I also think if more was done to educate about the development of that little baby from conception before a person made the decision to abort, the abortion rate would plummet. I don't think abortion clinics are going to show pictures of babies that have been aborted or even tell them how far developed their own baby is...they say it's too emotional...why is it emotional to see those pics or to know the status of the baby? Because they will realize it is already a little human being, not some mass of cells and the abortion clinic won't be able to make money if people realize this.

Hmm, nobody can really prove that for sure, but to me, human life would officially begin once there is a sense of consciousness, however since we cant figure that out, then i'll go with the idea that like within 5 minutes of conception is right.

One of the biggest arguments in the abortion debate is the issue of when does human life begin.

There is not a scientist in the world who would tell you that any living creature in the world can reproduce any offspring of a different species.

DNA is the most basic foundational building block of life in both animal & man. It is the most basic building block that makes every creature ONLY ABLE to reproduce it's own kind! It cannot reproduce any other species except it's own!

Even in the creation af a human baby, both the woman's egg, & the man's sperm, ONLY contain HUMAN DNA!

From the moment that the woman's egg is fertilized, that joined cell contains ONLY HUMAN DNA!

Once the fertilized egg starts to grow, it still contains ONLY HUMAN DNA!

That fertilized egg will ONLY DEVELOP INTO a human baby, because it contains ONLY HUMAN DNA!

Looking at these facts, let us see what Scripture says about reproduction:

Genesis 1:24 (New International Version)

24 And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so.

Look at what I have underlined-".....each according to it's own kind."

When God created the world, He made it so that each creature, could only reproduce the same species! A cow could not reproduce a horse. A Pig could not reproduce a dog. Each creature that God created, could ONLY REPRODUCE IT'S OWN KIND-NOTHING ELSE!

It's the same way with humans-a human can only reproduce another human.

Regardless of what a baby looks like, when it is forming-it is still a human being!

It cannot be anything else!

When a human kills another human being-it is murder!

When a woman has an abortion-it is killing another human being, regardless of what stage of development the baby might might be in! Why is it murder-because the baby, even if it is unborn, has ONLY HUMAN DNA-NOTHING ELSE! It is STILL a human being!

An unborn baby is still a human being, because it CANNOT BE ANYTHING ELSE!

Abortion kills another human being.

Therefore abortion IS MURDER!

That's my opinion.

When it can live outside the womb. If life begins at conception, as many would have you believe, what happens to the 70% or so of fertilised ova that fail to implant on the wall of the uterus or do so then abort naturally, mostly without the woman being aware she had conceived? Are you going to have a funeral for every sanitary pad and tampon - because that is the only way you will catch all those "humans". There is a huge redundancy in fertilised ova, is every one a human?

I think human life begins when the fetus is viable outside of the womb. Before then, the fetus is, by definition, a parasite with the mother as the host.

n.
(Biology) An organism that grows, feeds, and is sheltered on or in a different organism while contributing nothing to the survival of its host.

I'm starting to think it occurs the moment a zygote gains an additional cell because prior to that it can become twins, and twins do not share a soul.

There is an unbroken chain of life beginning with Adam. But a distinct and unique individual (one flesh fron two) begins at conception.

Biologically speaking, at conception.

Metaphysically speaking, no one knows when (or if, really) the soul enters the body. Or awareness, either.

I go with the biology, and say life begins at conception.
