I own a Remington 721 .30-06 and a Remington 597 .22. Along with the rifles, I own a Barska Huntmaster Pro scope and a USA made Weaver K4. Which scope would work best on which rifle? Thanks!

I have severl of the old Weaver K4s made in El Paso, TX. They are outstanding scopes and work great even decades old.

I use a K4 on top of my Springfield .30-06 for deer and it works great, even to a few hundred yards. You don't really need a super magnification scope like most folks think.

I'd put the better scope on the centerfire, and that's the Weaver.

Put the four (4)* power on the 22 cal & the other on the 30-06.* By the way I also have the Remington Model 721 in 30-06.* Great accurate rifle.* Terrific trigger pull, smooth & crisp as glass.* I have a 3X9 Tasco on mine.*
