The snapshot probably doesn't do you any favours and I suspect that you linked us to what you consider is your best current shot
Here's the problem - there are thousands of good-looking girls out there. Thousands of them feel the same way you do. Looks are NOT the only issue. You have to have so much more. Height, body shape (neither of which the snapshot illustrates), attitude, patience, experience (yes - there's a major problem!) and whether the camera loves you. From the pic shown - problem possibly. You need to get in touch with a GOOD photographer who can present you in a variety of different ways. Make that portfolio and some 'drop cards'. Hawk yourself into reputable agencies - they don't mind 'walk-ins' at all.
Good luck but be prepared for some disappointments along the way.
Note that this model has been unsuccessful in breaking into the business after some time trying - as yet:

Those are just a quickly-grabbed few from her portfolio. It IS a dream of many. Many fail. You have to have some kind of back-up plan should this dream collapse into ashes.

As for looks, you would have a chance.

But, modeling is lot more than looks.

For 99.9% of all models, it isnt the glamour you see on TV. Its a lot of hard work, and takes dedication.

You have to have a great work ethic, or if you wont get call backs from those doing the hiring. Stylists and photogs wil give you the looks to make you $$'s, but you have to be able to do the physical stuff, over and over, and that includes giving the looks that are needed. No matter how many hours or clothing makeup changes you go thru.

Folow the links fhotoace gave you, and give it a shot, you can get started TFP, just to get an idea of working in front of a camera. Use the forums there to contact models and learn.

Modelling HAS very LITTLE to do with looks...some people are not pretty and photograph amazing....(KATE MOSS) Uma Thurman....some people are pretty and don't photograph well....you have big eyes, that is a plus, and a huge smile, another plus, good hair that you have no ruined with chemicals, and clear skin...how tall r u? I think that you being Indian, or Middle Eastern (whichever it is) works in your favor, there are MORE models needed for different ethnicities...IF you had been just another blonde/blue eyed I would have said no...but the market will bear what it is lacking...and right now models like yourself are in demand as are always beautiful black models.....

If you're talking Versace catwalk, the models all have the same look and unfortunately, you don't have it.

But, that doesn't mean you can't be a hit in some other area.

Find a local photog who's willing to trade time-for-prints and get together a portfolio.

Look up REPUTABLE modeling agencies and start schmoozing.

Good luck.

You have gorgeous eyes. I'd say maybe. Modeling is about having the right look and body type for whatever the photo shoot is.

You have a unique look. You are attractrive, but so are a million other models. Learn lighting, business, posing, give-&-&take, humility, arrogance, stay alert, have energy, and add creative karma to a shoot and you WILL go far.

Good looks are not everything.

you are beautiful and you need to know that no matter what but in the industry they are VERY critical. i hate to say this but i don't think you would make it when a number of other girls are dying for the job. although you are beautiful. the key is how bad you truely want it don't try if you want it only try if you'd kill someone to be a model. but if you would....go for it you can always try!!! :)

You are beautiful. I think that if you are serious about modelling, then you do have a lot of potential. Try going to an agency and seeing what they think.
