Once, an american told me that it would be as difficult as having a Muslim president.
What do you think?

Personally, I'm against the idea - but I also think Mitt Romney has no chance of becoming President. The fundies elected Bush twice, and they aren't going to get behind a Mormon candidate in sufficient numbers, especially since the rest of us are very unhappy with the Republican agenda these days. I've known some Mormons, and they're a fairly white-bread bunch - you could mistake them for Methodists or Episcopalians if you didn't talk religion with them. But the fundies DO talk religion, and to them, the LDS is an heretical cult. Can the corporations elect another Republican without the fundie voters? Let's hope not...

I don't really care that he is Mormon, I'm a fairly liberal Democrat, but still, I might vote for him just because he happens to be a good sounding guy.
I like some of his beliefs, his mormonism (sp?) doesn't really matter to me, just like how JFK was a Catholic, it is all just a word, religion should be about actions and beliefs.

It is conceivable that a person like Mitt Romney could get elected. He is a very principled person and has a lot of government and business experience. I don't know that I would vote for him yet.

. He is just like J F K when he ran, and people worried about the pope . No problem there as long as he doesn't impose his beliefs , which would be against the constitution

the mormon is a far sight better than the rabid fundie or the delusional terrorist fighter. hopefully, we won't have to worry about any of them.

I don't care what his beliefs are, so long as he doesn't infringe on mine and so long as he does his job as president, leading and protecting the country. His beliefs are his business, just as everyone else's beliefs are their business.

whats the difference in having a atheistic one or a mormon one ? Clinton believed nothing, and you all voted for him !!
Romney says His belive doesnt have anything to do how he does things..then He believes in Nothing to !!

So what is the difference ??

man is corrupt NO MATTER what he tells you
Morman or atheist or whatever

if HE was a TRUE BELIEVER
HE WOULDNT BE IN THERE

PERIOD !!!!!!!

Honestly, I'm bothered more by the fact that the guy put the family dog in a crate and strapped it to the roof of the car when his family went on vacation.
