Unfortunately, if she needs a C-Section there is nothing else you can do. Without the Section you will lose her and her puppies. I suggest you talk to your veterinarian about payment plans, borrow money, or apply for Care Credit (1-800-365-8295). It acts like a credit card you can use for both pet and human medical expenses. There are interest free plans and once you call they tell you within 10 minutes if you are approved. This has saved many lives at our hospital.
As a last resort contact a local Chi rescue and relinquish her. That may be your only option to save her life and the life of her puppies.
ADD: Berrigo.. you should absolutely NOT pull the puppies out! Careful with your answers!!!!!! That is down right dangerous and your advice could kill the mom and her puppies! SHAME on you!

You do need to contact the vet - many will arrange for a payment plan so that you don't have to pay it all off in one go; they're people who care about animals and would much rather help an animal in need than allow it to die or get sicker simply because an owner hasn't thought about what a pregnant dog might need. You were a thoughtless enough owner to allow her to get pregnant without being an experienced breeder or even knowing that Chis usually need Caesarians - don't make her suffer any more now.
Your other option is a humane association. If you live in a relatively large town or a city there should be at least one. Look them up and give them a call, as they offer free or reduced cost care. In the meantime, towels, a dark, warm place for her to whelp, and watch her.
You may be lucky, but I've owned Chis for years and years, and at least 75% of the pups I've owned have been caesarian births.

Something you should have thought about before you even thought of breeding her as this is almost always the case with Chihuahua's.
Call your vet right away if she's in trouble. Ask if you can make payments if you need a c-section. If not try and find a vet who will. If not call family and friends. See if they can lend you the money you will need. If not sell something. Anything. You made the choice to breed her you have no other option that to do all you can to make sure she makes it through the birth. You have a computer in front of you which would make a good dent in the payment. Take away the cost of the internet connection you have a bit more towards it. You really do have no option but to afford the care she needs.
There is a credit card also you can apply for to cover vet fee's. Sorry I believe we are no longer able to post info on this card so you will have to try different searches. Try pet vet bill credit card or something like that. How I wish I could give you the number. People have lost their accounts for giving links so I can;t risk it. Sorry!
If you don;t get her help if she needs it lack of money and a dead dog could be the least of your problems. You could be charged with animal neglect.
Good luck. Seems like you are going to need it. This is why good breeders do not only genetic testing, but loads of research too so as they never find themselves in your situation. They know to have money and lots of it ready before they even find a mate.

If you do not allow her to have proper medical attention and she is in need of a c-section she will most definately die a horrible death... that is all there is to that - sorry. It is likely a Chihuahua and not a 'Chiwawa' -- if you don't even know how to spell the name of the breed, why in the world would you breed it and if you don't have the money to give it proper medical attention, why do you have it? I know, you will think this is mean but basically YOU are the one being mean -- you have allowed this poor creature to become pregnant, likely out of greed, and yet you will allow her to die a horrendous death because of your ignorance... You HAVE to take her to the vet and if it is totally impossible for you to properly care for her then you need to take her to the local shelter and relienquish ownership of her so that they can take proper care of her. If she is already in labor, there isn't much time and the longer you wait, the more likely she will die even IF you get her to the shelter or a vet -- go NOW to one place or the other or you are being neglagent and abusive by allowing an animal to die without providing proper care...

Are you serious? What can you do instead of a c-section? Nothing... Now that those puppies are in there, you have to get them out, the only way that is going to happen is naturally, or by c-section. You cannot allow puppies to die because you have no money or you didn't think this thru. That is just cruel, and neglectful. You'll need to find the money that will fix this problem you created.

Did you not know that CHIHUAHIA'S often need c-sections??
YOU let the dog get pregnant, so you have to find a way to pay for the surgery. If you wait too long you will have dead puppies AND a high vet bill to show for it. Wait even longer and you will have a dead mom AND puppies.
Sometimes it sucks to be responsible, huh!
AGREED!!!!!! You start PULLING things out and what you are going to get is "bits" of puppy! NO PULLING ANYTHING! That is what the VET is for!

u should have thought about that before u bred ur dog. u should have thought about the fact that u couldnt afford it. guess what now ur stuck. honestly if u want to save her life u need to have a c section done. it doesnt matter if u cant afford it. when u bred her u made a commitment and by not taking her to the vet to save her u r breaking that promise. this is y i tell people who dont have the time, money, or knowledge not to breed. let this be a lesson to u and all the people u talk to who want to breed. maybe u will think twice next time.

Uh, lets see, what would you do if you needed a cesarian? I would imagine that you would get it done. Your dog will most likely die if she doesn't get the surgery. You were irresponsible enough to let her get bred, now go reedeem yourself and get the surgery. And by the way, it's spelled Chihuahua not chiwawa.

get rid of your dog! how heartless can you be that is killing a dog which you can be charged for if you just let the puppies die. get the prosedure and pay it off slowly just make sure the puppies get a good home and the mom for you oviously can't afford your dog!!!! vand learn how to spell. and get your dog fixed as soon as the babys are safe. the babies have to be with mom for 8 weeks minimum. and don't brred your dog make this alesson to you.

Plain and simple, if she cannot have the pups without a c-section, and you don't take her to have it done, she and the pups will die. There is no way around it.
