IsGrand Theft Auto IV going to be available for Ps2 aswell?

all i hear is for Ps3 and for Xbox

Thank you for your email. There are no plans to release Grand Theft Auto IV for the PlayStation 2, or any of the other older platforms. For Grand Theft Auto IV, we are creating an unmatched high-definition experience, where every aspect of the game is being re-examined and enhanced to create something that was never possible on the PlayStation 2 platform. Every single aspect of the game, including animation, artificial intelligence, physics, lighting, detail and more, is being pushed to the limit.



Because of the advancements in these, and many other areas, Grand Theft Auto IV is something that is far beyond the possible scope of the PlayStation 2 platform, and as such couldn’t be enjoyed on that system without severely compromising our vision for the game. Grand Theft Auto IV will be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early 2008.

nope, its only for ps3 and xbox 360- dont expect big games to come out on ps2 anymore. so time to upgrade to a ps3

GTA 4 is only going to be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Grand Theft Auto 4 couldn't be put on the PS2 because of the increased technology and game size. If it was to be put on the PS2, the game would have to be downscaled.

No sadly not at this time.I have it preordered for PS3 but it may come out later on but probably wont be comparable to the PS3 & Xbox 360 versions.
