Girls, would you love a guy who is shorter than you?

Hi

I am just 5' 5. But i am not depressed or unhappy. I believe i am blessed by God since I am educated and healthy.

However when it comes to girls then i am unable to understand a few things. They say they like a guy's character and his heart more than anything else. However i dont see many pretty women dating average looking sensible guyz. They usu. go after the hot ones or the Big pockets, they get cheated on and then they usu. say 'All guyz are like that'. I have noticed that girls love to confide in me but usu. as a trustworthy friend & not as a potential mate. What do you like in a potential partner and what are your opinions about this. Please no rude comments.

SSHORT: All the women you see driving enormous 4X4's to take kids to school and go shopping proves my point beyond doubt.

Well, i am not one of those girls who just goes for the fab-looking and well paid guy - i grew up in a household ruled by a violent man and i know that nothing in the world matters so much as feeling safe and secure in your own home with the ones you love. Im 17 and have never had a bf, but honestly have no list of what he should or shouldnt look like (fat, tall, slim, short, i dont care so long as they love me.) All i ask is that when i meet the man of my dreams i can look forward to a happy future and never have to look back to my past. I wouldnt worry about your height, when you meet the right girl, whether or not she has to bend down to kiss you isnt going to matter - so long as you hold her hand throughout life and are always there for her, nothing else will matter. :)

I am 5'4 but I've never dated a guy shorter than me but I wouldn't not love someone because of height. It's going to depend on the person. I would say that YES! I would love a guy shorter than myself. She's out there!!!

I would have to say date a man for what's on the inside not the outside and sometimes a pretty package makes for a big debt. So I like sensible men, sweethearts and very very fun crazy men. Be yourself and you'll be fine...

Chicks are so shallow. I think its a lack of self confidence that makes chicks not go out with guys shorter than themselves, or, its a genetic thing in so much that they have the inbuilt instinct to be dominated like the weaker sex they are. with all due respect i could not be with a man shorter than me. I have had a past bf who was my height and I felt very weird about it. i just think that some girls need to feel that protection of being with someone who holds you and make you feel safe. Heck, that is totally up to the girl who you are with and how "safe, comfortable, etc. she feels. The real question is does height matter to you? In college I had a friend who was about your height and he ended up married to one of the basketball players who was easily six inches taller. If you (general term) are uncomfortable and think too much about physical features it will be known that you have insecurities and then it might make both parties uncomfortable.

well i personaly wouldnt usualy date a guy that was shorter than me but i am sure other girls would just try to make them think about your personality and not your height b/c if i really liked your personality then the height thing wouldnt matter as much!

I'm shorter than my wife and I have to assume she still loves me after 15 years. If you think it might be a problem find a woman that is shorter than you. There are plenty.

I had a friend in highschool who was 6 feet tall and she always went out with shorter boys. I don't have that problem cos I'm only 5'7".

i dont think height should be a deciding factor on how you feel about someone. lucky for me, im only 5 ft 2, so most ppl are taller than me anyway :-)
