It takes me an extremely long time because I've had several embarising or painful cases of reading signals wrong.
Also, if you really like the guy, just ask him out yourself instead of waiting for him to do it.

Maybe the person has been mistreated by a women, it took me and my partner of 2years over a year to realize that we liked each other and that we weren't messing around with each others feelings because we had both been hurt and didn't want to trust anyone again and one day it just happened and we are very happy still in the honeymoon period and nearly 2 years together. There are some nice men/women out there you just gotta be patient,let love come to you

Guys worry about stuff. They probably did notice the signals but are worried they might be getting the wrong idea! If you want a guy to notice you, go talk to him and tell him you are interested in him. He can't really miss that!

Flirting with a guy doesn't necessarily mean a girl likes you, because a lot of my friends who are girls flirt with me and my friends at school. And then there are girls that are too shy to send real signs that they have interest in a guy. If you completely ignore a guy, how are they supposed to know you have interest in them?

Maybe girls in the past have played games, hurt the guys, & guys are being very cautious. Can't blame them? Lots of gals have hurt guys by treating them like dogs, thus mistreating them.

We are not slow.. Some guys are simply afraid to express how they feel because they think you don't feel the same way... and are afraid to wreck the freindship.

sometimes different reason 1. it could be mixed signal might not be on purpose 2. he might have an idea you do like him but don't want to say something in case hes wrong and don't want to be embarrassed
