According to the Bible (Romans 1), an atheist knows in his/her heart that there is a God and “suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” Though an atheist is blinded by Satan’s lies, there is a longing in every human heart to search and know God.

I secretly know that god has never been proven. If he does exist I sincerely doubt he will be the god of the bible.

No. My studies and experiences have led me to the conclusion that "God" is an invention of man, not the other way around. I also think that people who say "atheists must secretly believe in God" are merely making the mistake of applying their own psychopathy to others.

i consider myself atheist, i am almost certain there is no god. if anyone could prove to me otherwise then i would surely believe, but with lack of evidence i must follow the most likely over the extremely far-fetched.
