I currently live in NYC and I am trying to find a job for over 6 months now and I haven't been able to get any type of work that is stable. I want to get a medical receptionist position but it is so hard to find. Any suggestions and oh yeah answer the question above: What state has the most job available? is New York one?

Taking away the study of individual cities, listed above, as I have seen multiple different studies, all list different cities as the fastest growing, or the best job markets.

Overall, the best places to look for jobs in healthcare, are the more populated states, as that is where health care needs are greatest. This may not apply as significantly to receptionist as to others in either the professional or service healthcare occupations.

The states in which the greatest growth in the job market for health care is anticipated and is currently seen are: California, Texas, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

recent study was done that narrowed it down to cities: boston, cleveland, chicago, phoenix, houston and dallas. So, texas, north carolina, south carolina, and arizona are your best options.
