Believe, no. Accept a deities existence, yes. Nothing could make me worship said deity.
I would need the deity to come down and appear in front of the entire world simultaneously. It would need to explain its identity and purpose in the native language of everyone at the same time. I would need news reports to make sure I wasn't going crazy. The deity would also need to do something impossible. The above would be possible with the right technology. The only example I've been able to think of so far is turning the moon into cheese. Alchemy is just simply impossible. I would also need documented proof that the impossible had occurred, data from NASA would be the proof for my example.

I might settle for something as simple as a lack of major contradictions among the world's organized religions. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of different religions out there, each claiming to be 100% correct, and often backing up their claim with bloodshed. They can't all be right...and wouldn't any Divine Being want us to worship Him, Her, or Them in the Correct Way? Or at least wouldn't the True God's worshipers have massacred the rest of us by now, if they had divine right on their side?
It's not for lack of trying.

That's a good question. Probably not. I think it's irrational. I would probably be less resistant if arguments for god were not based on the Bible though. Religious people tend to try to prove what they are saying because it's in the Bible, but I don't see it as proof at all. I think that was just a bunch of stories written by people with their own motives, not the word of god.

How many times must I answer this question?
Yes. Absolutely.
Just have him come down and pick me up in his car. We'll go to Starbuck's and have a cup of coffee.
He'll answer a few questions, turn the coffee into wine.
That will be good enough for me.
How hard is that for an all powerful deity?
A cup of coffee and a few questions.
Guess what?
Not going to happen.
IT'S NOT REAL, IDIOT...

A simple, verifiable, miracle.
Many of us have proposed an amputee who re-grows the lost limb. Should be child's play for the omnipotent God of the Christians.

Yes. I just need for God to come to me and tell me he wants me to do such and such. <---and then, i will do it.
an all powerful god that used to often frequent the earth shouldn't have any trouble with that.
unless, he really wants me to not believe...and then he can remain out of my life. either way, i'm okay with it.

Is there anything that would make you (and others) not ask such pushy and nosy questions?

Yes. Sufficient empirical evidence to support the hypothesis of a god or gods.

I'd have to see him/her/it. Or, I would have to be shown some damn good evidence, like something that's totally impossible happening right before my eyes.
