Well "deism" isn't a religion. It's kind of a middle ground between theism and atheism.

A theist believes that god is alive and takes and interest in and intervenes into human affairs.

A deist believes god set up all the rules and got everything in motion and then went away and left it alone to run.

A deist believes that there is a god, but he doesn't intervene in the existing universe.

This is what Intelligent Design actually argues for. They believe in a god that created the universe, but they don't think he really cares about what happens now at all. It really isn't an organized religion per say.

God created the world but does not intervene and there are no miracles. Deism believes in reward and punishment in a life after deathn but not in resurrection of the body not in the incarnation of god, the trinity, Diety of Christ ,etc. Reason is the only revelation
