A few of the people who need a god would start to run amok... the rest would be ok. Life might even get better for many folks.
And then, we'd have only politics to argue about...

the fact that so many people believe in something there is no scientific proof of, would be impossible to disprove. so the question itself is irrelevant. even if there was some kind of proof that God doesn't exist wouldn't matter because believers would still believe. so any proof that God didn't exist wouldn't make much of a difference because there is really no concrete proof that God does exist. people will hear what they want to hear.

Hmmm, the same thing that would happen if someone came up with proof that there is a God.
People don't need to believe in a God to be fanatical.

i reckon people who believed in god would just ignore it and say it wasnt true. its already happened- they'v found proof that the world wasnt created in 7 days lol...and that people actually decended from apes...but christians just say that the proof is incorrect. thats what they would do again if someone found proof that god didnt exist. haha i think it would be pretty hilarious tho

Not much, the Believers would still give many millions of dollars to the Right Religious Republican Party to create the "Christian Nationalist Republic of America (IGWT)."

Don't hold your breath, because it will never happen. Read your Holy Bible and spend your good time, finding the Proof that there is a God. Believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

"That person would be killed by religious nuts."
Well, aren't they always hypocrites? Typical. lol j/k
Morality doesn't branch off the religious tree, religion branches off the morality tree. Everything will be OK if the religious nuts(stereotypically of course) don't go on a rampage! oO;

People would immediately invent another god and worship it. Gods are created by wishful thinking, and wishful thinking is a very powerful human attribute.
