Ok so i really liked this girl and we were dateing and one day i told her. you really look cute today she was like yea thats what i was trying to do. so we went to the movies and i got mad at her i forgot y and i didnt sit next to her. so then i told her i was with an other girl. and told her best friend that i liked some other girl and i would kiss other girls ( i know this was bad) but the thing is that i really like this girl. so we went out to a soccer game for her B day and i gave her a teddy bear and a rose. so 2 weeks later she went out with some one else so we didnt talk for like 2 months. and she IMed me. and some how we started talking and she asked my y was a jerk to her for those months when she had ger BF. so i told her no reason and she kept asking me. until she was like. i know y u were mad. i was like no . the past is the past. she was like are u sure the past is the past or is it cuz i went out with him cuz im not going out with him no more.!?!?!??!?!

I have to say that was a very jerky thing you did. Don't mess with girl's emotions like that. I'm amazed that she's talking to you at all. Even if you did it just to make her mad, it hurt like the real thing. All that time that you guys were apart, she thought she was the one moving on, while you were out being a butthead. Although you tried to apologize with the rose, teddy bear, etc, it may have come across as more of a sheepish bribe to get her back. What you really owe her is an explanation of how stupid you were to fly off the handle when you were mad and another apology along with, "I know I don't really deserve you, but I really do still like you as I always have, and I want your permission to pursue a relationship again." Good luck and consider yourself a very lucky man to have such a forgiving girl.

i think it was all your fault. if you were mad at her and cant even remember why then it obviously was not a big deal but you told her about other girls and wanting to kiss them. she went out with someone else because of what you said. if you want to try and work things out come clean and i bet she will tell you exactly what i told you.

If she said, "Are you sure the past is the past? Because I'm single now....." she was probably trying to say, "I am thinking about taking you back, but you're going to have to ask me out."
