evidence?
if a religion has no evidence to back up its claims and additionaly is countered by numerous sources, not just theories, then it is more than likely myth. If a religion has some basis in history, logic and perhaps even a minute scientific following, then you have some basis to believe a myth, is true. Blind believe seems tantamount to worshiping a bull or a pen. Ultimately all concepts require some form of faith, but that does not mean we must blindly decide; that seems to me atleast, to be mere apathy.

They are the same thing. However there is money involved in religion that isn't in mythology. But you have tons of people who are still superstitious over everything, believe in aliens and other creatures, etc so you can't say that mythology is not believed in by anyone anymore.

Oh...I see what you mean. Religion is a socially-practiced idea. When religions fall out of popular acceptance, they are re-named "mythologies".

Actually a myth is just a sacred story in anthropology terms. It has nothing to do with whether it is true or not. Myths can be true-the word doesn't mean false as most think it does.

the number of people that believes the story(ies) are true and or false.
I'm Christian and Christianity is considered a religion by enough people that we do not call Christianity a myth -- if only a handful of people believed in Jesus Christ the whole world would call it a myth regardless of the truth.
I believe Christianity is truth -- so even if I was the only one it would not be a myth to me -- but it would likely be classified as a myth by the rest of the world.

Religion has followers who blindly believe in the myths based on a doctrine that outlines the myths and how people must act in order to attain the same greatness attained in the myths.
