Not too mention that they are now accusing my son of stealing a pair of 1k diamond earrings! I am really pissed off at them for this behavior and not to mention that her husband called my son with a nasty attitude about not paying him.

Something similar happened to me when I was a teen. My Dad was MAD! He took the lady to small claims court. She tried to accuse me of stuff, too, and the judge told her that was a case for another day. I got my money and she never did bring up charges. Hope this helps!

shouldn't he not expect to be paid for helping out? Was their a promise made to pay him? ARE YOU SURE HE HASN'T NICKED THE EARRINGS OUT OF SPITE? have THEY GOT LOST AND THE COUPLE GENUINELY THINK THEY ARE STOLEN? (sorry knocked caps lock on by mistake there but you get my drift?) don't let it all spiral out of control it isn't worth it.

Tell your niece to talk to him. Or confront him and say that he'd never steal anything. That man is one rude perosn.,!
