If the gun is to be blamed for crimes and deaths around the world we should also:
Remove all those people from the Hall of fame and just leave the baseball bat, the foot ball, tennis racket, soccer ball, boxing gloves etc. etc. why are we inducting the person and not their equipment into the hall of fame?

In my opinion, is not the bat, but the batter that deserves the credit and at the same time, is not the gun but person that also deserves the “credit”……Common sense!

The common phrase (and quite correct) is

Guns don't kill people.
People kill people.

If this question is relating to how people say guns kill people, then I should respond with this. If criminals cannot get their hands on guns to do their crimes or kill another person, they can use a knife, fork, baseball bat, pipe, heck even a broom stick. Get ready for the big outlaw of broom sticks!

Thank You, you're so right with that!

it's like blaming your pencil if you wrote something you didn't want to, or blaming a knife because you stabbed someone.

Same thing with Guns. People have the choice to control whether or not to pull the trigger and if having control is THAT hard, then what the hell are they doing with the damn thing?

Seriously...

Nobody's blaming the gun. They're blaming the ease with which guns change hands, and fall into those of convicted felons, or people with psychosis, or people who are young, etc.

A gun is as responsible for shooting people as a spoon is responsible for making people fat.

The difference with other weapons is that you cannot kill mass numbers of people with a pencil or with a baseball bat.

Why do people love their guns so much?

it has always been said that guns don't kill people, people kill people. so I don't think guns are responsible.

This is a good example of the brainwashing that the gun lobby undertakes. It's sad how successful they are. It just proves how gullible Americans can be.

Do you seriously believe this or are you just trying to prove how stupid you are?
