I know some Swedish people who speak one or more of English, German and Turkish. So I wouldn't be surprised if some speak Spanish.
Wow tough crowd. Obviously the national language of Sweden is Swedish, but that wasn't quite the question, you know?

I don't know why either, besides being plain ignorant. You are correct, except it's spelled Swedish.
