Is there anywhere I can buy a 60gb PS3 online or from a retail outlet (shop). (anything but eBay)

Yeah, I have seen some on Amazon.com, but the 60GB PS3's are selling for about $100 bucks more than the 80GB PS3. And the 60GB PS3 should be selling for more money because it's been discontinued and it has the best backward compatibility like the 20GB PS3.

As far as finding a 60GB PS3 in a retail store, I'm not sure because most stores only sell the 40GB and 80GB PS3 models, but there may be a few rare stores that still have the 60GB PS3.

Unfortunately at this point, eBay or something similar is really going to be your only hope. Sony stopped making the 60GB PS3 in the summer, and soon afterwards, announced that their remaining inventory of the 60GB units had been shipped to retailers, who seemed to sell out of them earlier this fall or so.

You could try checking with smaller retailers in your area, but I'm guessing the 60GB PS3s are long since sold out, leaving eBay, Craigslist, Yahoo Auctions, Amazon's Marketplace, or similar sources your only hope.
