ONE (1) egg equals any one of the following:
1.
2 Tbs. flour
½ tsp. oil
½ tsp. baking powder
2 Tbs. liquid
2.
2 Tbs. water
1 Tbs. oil
½ tsp. baking powder
3.
1 Tbs. flaxseed* (ground in coffee mill)
3 Tbs. warm water
4.
1 Tbs. gelatin or fruit pectin
3 Tbs. warm water
Yogurt, mashed banana, applesauce, pumpkin, or other pureed fruit or vegetables are good replacements for eggs in muffins or cakes.
To replace eggs in casseroles, burgers, or loaves try mashed vegetables, tahini, (sesame seed butter) nut butters or rolled oats.
* Flaxseed is a wonderful source of Biomega Three Fatty acids that our bodies need and usually don’t get enough of.

Nah, you do not need to put eggs in brownies. There are tons of alternatives and recipes for eggless brownies. Here is one.
Eggless Brownies
8 tsp. oil
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. chocolate extract
1 tbsp. plain lowfat yogurt
3/8 c. cold water
3/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients, mixing until blended.
With a spoon, make a well in the center. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients, mixing with a spoon. Pour into a well in dry mixture. Stir until all ingredients are moistened.
Place batter in a 4 x 8 inch nonstick loaf pan or one that has been sprayed with a nonstick cooking spray. Bake 15 minutes.
Cool in pan on wire rack.

If the recipe doesn't call for eggs, you don't have to put eggs, if the recipe calls for eggs, you must put them. I've looked through all of my recipes and I found one that doesn't call for eggs...

No, you do not have to use eggs.
Maybe you can add some egg beaters (they are really good), or maybe you can use 2 eggs whites and 1 egg yolk, or pureed fruit, (applesauce, or try pureed frozen strawberries or raspberries).
