I'm sitting in a lovely inn in Quebec on a bit of holiday before cranking my performing life up again. Down comforter and quiet. Lovely snow outside. Don't know when I'll go shopping but I know I'm heading downstairs to the pub to have a glass or 2 of champagne before dinner. I know, it's horrible.
If they had eggnog I'd be having 5:)

Staying.....Survivor is on at 8. I won't miss it.
I love Jesus every day. This time of year is not a lot different.
I hesitate to say the "C" word for fear of offending those who do not believe in it or who say we have "stolen" it from the pagans.

Got his gift today.
My friend wanted a book, but is widowed, all alone and said she doubted her dog would buy it for her.
It was wrapped up with a gift card "from her dog" and waiting for her when she got off work.
Simple acts of kindness are what Jesus would want.

Celebrating birthdays is a pagan thing. Jesus did not celebrate his birthday. He was not born in December anyway. And no where in the bible does it tell us to do this.
