I wanna ask someone to a meal but I'm broke ^_^; so what recipies do you recomend??

I don't like toching meats and I'm not good at portion measuring but I've got some Side-Kick noodle packs so what meat can I make that won't gross me out and I won't have to trim the fat and that I won't have to hover over moment after moment wondering if it's burnt...

Thanks, Mel

like I don't mind eating meat but it gets annoying... and cutting, trimming, killing, or just microwaving raw or already made meat grosses me out to a shuddering point...

I'm a vegetarian married to a non-vegetarian so I understand not wanting to touch meat or trim it or do a million things to it.

I've found that the easiest thing for me is to make sausage. They come in a million different flavors, are in a casing so you don't nave to touch the meat, and are as easy to cook as boiling water!

With sausage you can make German sausage with sour krout roasted red potatos and a side salad

You can make red beans and rice, with sasuage for a creol take on it

or put it in good old fashioned italian pasta, or ravioli

Another dish that is becoming rather popular is paella, it's spanish and means anything that falls into the pan. If you can master that, it's a easy but good way to wow a dinner guest!

How about chili in a crock pot?

Just get 1 pound of ground beef you don't have to trim or cut and just put in a pan and with a small to medium size onion and brown it. Drain all the liquid and put that all in the crock pot add 15 oz of kidney beans (2 cans) 15 oz of tomato sauce then salt to taste 1 tsp of garlic powder 1 tsp of cumin. cook on low for 3 to 4 hrs or you can do on stove top in about an hour.

I made corn bread as a side (one in a box made by Jiffy) all you need is milk and an egg for that and your good to go and cheap. You will probably have left overs too.

TIP: remember though that all the spices are to your taste you can add more or less.
Enjoy

one of the best meals I ever had was a dinner that my daughter made me for my Birthday. She made spaghetti and she used the Ragu or Prego sauce that was already prepared with the chunks of veggies and the meat. She warmed up French bread and had a tossed salad mix she and my wife picked up at the store. we drank hot coco and then watched a great movie that we already owned.
Have fun and good eating.

Make a good cheese quesadilla some salad and brownies for dessert. Top your quesadilla with cut up tomato, olives and sour cream, cut into wedges and you are set! A good appetizer or even dessert using the leftover taco shells, is to lightly spread the flour tortilla with soft butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture and bake until the edges get brown. Oh--so yummy! Serve with fruit cocktail or pudding for a dessert!

veg stir fry.

Buy veg you like, cut up in to similar size pieces throw in a fry pan or wok with a little oil, cook the noodles as directed, drain and add to veg in fry pan, trow on some soy sauce (or any other stir fry sauce you like). serve.

if you want to add meat buy a cooked chicken from the supermarket and add to the veg and noodles - shred the chicken don't throw the whole thing in there

I don't think your budget is the problem here, it's being near meat that is the problem. Too bad because some of the best things come out of a pound of hamburger, like spaghetti, chili, Spanish rice, mac and cheese, chili mac, meat loaf and on and on and on.

I understand the meat thing. Does the same to me.. However it is a nessacary evil.
I normally wear gloves when handling meat and I also buy my meat already package to prepare.

Veggie fajitas or some kind of pasta. You can buy packages of tortellini or ravioli in the freezer section and just add some sauce and maybe some garlic bread.
