Ok, I dont get why people. Mostly girls, are having fits over being abit chubby? Whats wrong with being liek that? If you dont like it. Exercise. Why do people stop eating? Dont they know how stupid that is. Being anerexcic is worse then being Fat. In my oppinion. I think girls these days are fussing to much about apperence and arnt caring enough about the stuff that really matters. If i see a person who says there fat whe nthey aint and know it. Im gna shuve 30 cakes in there mouth.

Anorexia (and the other eating disorders) are actually a mental disease, it's something you have to get help for and can't just "not care'. It's hard. Maybe if you read about eating disorders some you could be more understanding of people who suffer from them and be able to help them change and get healthy. I would browse around this site and see if you learn anything from it
http://www.myeatingdisorder.com

As far as people being fat, being fat is very unhealthy, I don't think people should be anorexic, but being fat has just as many health issues and anorexia - both of them are slowly killing you.
People just need to focus on being healthy and stop judging other people. If girls could learn to stop judging I think most eating disorders & overweight people would be cured because people would be interested in helping people who need help to get healthy rather than complain about them and judge them without understand what that person actually feels and is going through physically and mentally.

I feel better getting that off my chest as well. Before you put down people with eating disorders, read about it and learn what you can, maybe you can learn enough to help people rather than just complaining about their problem, sounds like you have your own problems to work out before judging everyone else for theres.

You need to define what you mean by "fat" and "chubby". I'll assume you mean overweight.
And nice false dilemma there: so everyone's either fat or anorexic now? They also aren't comparable in the slightest, anorexia doesn't just mean you're skinny, it's a serious mental disorder which is more about control then being thin. Being overweight can be down to many things; laziness, depression, illness, binge-eating disorder...the list goes on.
We need to keep tabs on our weight because it's not healthy to be overweight or obese, if no one worried about getting fat then we'd have a nation of overweight people...oh wait! We're nearly there; 60 percent of this country is overweight at least!
We girls worry about our appearances because it's constantly in our faces; beauty ads with perfect models, magazines on how to look sexy. Surrounded by images of the media's perception of perfection can make the average woman feel very down about herself at times.
In answer to your question of "what's wrong with being fat?" I'll ask you this; What's RIGHT with being fat?
I think it's neither wrong OR right, we can't dictate to people how they should look-if someone's dangerously overweight but is happy-then let them be fat! If someone looks "anorexic" when they're just naturally thin, then leave them alone! Being called anorexic can really affect someone, it's like the people closest to you think you're mentally unstable!

It is media perception, but it's also about control. If you look at the majority of the people who eating disorders, they tend to be controlling people who have situations that they feel they can't control, like parents getting divorced or something is happening at school. I know when I get really stressed out, I either don't feel like eating at all or I eat anything I can get my hands on, which is probably more dangerous.

But shoving 30 cakes into someone's mouth is definitely not going to help.

... easy
put the cakes down and step back SLOWLY

yeah, I don't get why people are this obsessive either, anexoria isn't any faster or less painful than doing it the right way but aparently the thick skulled middle schoolers out there need multiple reminders.

the reason people are so self conscious about it is the whole media preception thing that you've heard a million times. Basically what it comes down to is everyone wants attention and pretty people get more, which most people associate with being skinny.

But don't shove cake down peoples throats, you should chain them to a table and tell them they can't leave till they eat 30 cakes and watch them... closely.

because some people will never be perfect in their own eyes.

i happen to be one of those people.
i dont eat lunch, or breakfast. on most days;;
i dont eat food until around 4:30/5:30 at night.
when i finally eat.. i feel guilty for eating &&
i go run a mile, do sit-ups, that kind of thing.
it isnt random.. its every day of my life. im not
anorexic but i basically used to be. i wouldn't
eat for like 2 or 3 days at a time. but it wasn't
because i saw myself as being fat because i know
that i used to be but i am not actually like skinny..
its that i saw myself as not being skinny. and until
i started to see myself as being skinny;; it was
very hard to eat.

people can't help it.. if you shoved 30 cakes in my
mouth, even one. i would beat you down. i hate
fatty foods.. haha nothing against you!

hope you understand why some people
can't help not being able to eat..
and im the opposite. i think being
fat is so much worse than being anorexic!
being fat isn't a disease. which means
when i see a fat person, i feel sick and
i look at them with shame. when i see an
anorexic person, i feel horrible for them,
and wanna cry because they think they are
fat and do so much damage just because they
are dieing to be skinny, and theyre so much littler
than that. i know a true anorexic and it isnt anything
funny. if you want to know more about the person
i know [ like how i know theyre anorexic.. ]]
just ask :]

hope this helped!

we need to quit using the term "fat". Let's deal with being heavier than healthy. Being obese is the number one health concern in this country. It contributes to almost all medical conditions. Slightly plump is not obesity nor is it unattractive. Just make sure slighty plump doesn't become obese. Eat a healthy diet and exercise.

I agree with you on that! The only down side to being too fat is that it has a lot of health implications if you are just too overweight. It does my head in when people who look slim , go on about how fat they look. I also agree a little body fat is better than no body fat.

i know right!!! im what people consider a "big girl" but i sorta like my body. im pretty tall (5'8") and if i was skinny, i'd look like a freaking pole!

its the media that brainwashes these girls into thinking that big cant be beautiful. you and i are lucky we werent cursed like that =D

ohyeah and i just wanted to add, dont you think queen latifah is pretty? cuz i do and shes bigger. people like her should be role models to girls, not that they should become "fat" but that big can be beautiful and she has a positive attitude. do u think paris hilton is a good influence? sure shes skinny and crap like that but what kind of person would want to be like her? brainwashed girls..

Its just a trend, most will grow out of it.
Then they will move onto plastic surgery.
A fickle person will follow any trend.
