I want to know what it was like for them during that time and hw did they come up with their paintings for example the Mona Lisa how did leonardo Da vinci create this portrait

The Renaissance in England was about great literature. There were no great English artists at this time. The great age of English artists, which included Reynolds, Romney, Gainsborough, Constable, & Turner, was later in the 1700's and 1800's. The greatest painter in England in the 1500's was the German Hans Holbein the Younger. He was court painter to King Henry VIII.
About your other question about the Mona Lisa by Leonardo. In Italy during the Renaissance it was customary
for women about to be married to have their portrait painted. I hope that this has been a help to you.
