Haha we don't! Thats something we supposedly say, thanks to cheesey American shows & films every English person is shown to be stiff and boring with dodgey accents. Cheerio is rarely used, most English go with something informal like see ya later, bye, etc, cheerio is just another way of saying it, but its too formal and silly!
