Oh jeez, here we go. You know what, that sounds like it could be a really great mix, but $2500? Run away. Anyone who's going to cross-breed dogs and charge that much for them doesn't have the dog's health and best interests anywhere on their radar.

And so a new designer breed is born. How I miss the days when that poster would have read 'pups for sale, 1/2 weimaraner 1/2 sneaky neighbor dog' and the pups would be sold for $50 at the most
But look on the bright side folks, I don't think many people will spend $2500 when they can get a dog for a few hundred at the other BYB down the street. Maybe the weagle won't last long.
We can dream right?

Those have gotta be weird looking dogs. No I have never heard of them before, but I have seen a whole bunch of other mutts before!
Weagles are just mutts with a high price. Whatever you do, don't fall for it. As Bassetnut said, it is a scam.

A mutt by any other name.....
If someone has $2500 there are lots of those at the shetler or rescue you can get for this price and they will be fully vetted as well as spayed or neutered to prevent future Weagles from appearing.

I have never seen one nor have I heard of one. But that price tag is insane! I have heard of people trying to sale mutts before & I personaly think its stupid! I mean, I could buy a full blooded dog for that price & cheaper! So, why in the world would I buy a mutt?! Does anyone else feel the way I do about this? Or is it just me?

Never heard of it, and I'm not a big fan of these ''designer'' breeds that people are creating. Just because you breed two purebreds together, doesn't mean you can stamp a new name on the puppies and make a ton of money off of them.
$2,500 for a mixed breed dog is insane. I'd rather adopt a mixed breed from the shelter, than encourage people to breed more dogs, purebred or not.
I wish people would understand the overpopulation problem we have with animals right now, and actually care to do something about it, instead of adding to it.

they are esigner" dogs, poorly bred by backyard breeders.
but let me tell you there is nothing new under the sun.
Go to the local pound and there will be all the weagles, cockipoos, malitpoos...and whatever else you want!
People are crazy.
I think it makes me more mad when I see a "designer"mutt with my favorite breed (beagles).
But they all make me mad!

Oh my God, another crossbreed marketed as a 'new breed'. No a 'weagle' is a new one on me - obviously whoever thought that one up is really pleased with themselves! And $2500 - that is OUTRAGEOUS. Spread the word, don't be pouring money into the pockets of these backyard breeders!!

I have a shih-tzu/chihuhua cross that most would call a "ShiChi" or "Shihuahua." My friend's shih-tzu got pregnant by a neighbors dog accidentally (I love my friend dearly, but she's a shining example of an irresponsible pet owner.) I helped her find homes for the puppies, THEN helped her schedule a spaying. One of the puppies found a home with my daughters. :)
He's not any kind of fancy named dog, though. He's a mutt. He will never experience the joy of fatherhood, because as soon as he's old enough, he's getting snipped.
Don't contribute to the craze of people breeding mutts for profit. It only leads to MORE homeless and neglected animals.

It is just a fancy name for some mutt and nobody should buy it because it's not a purebred dog and $2500 is a lot of money for a dog in the first place.
