Senator Joe McCarthy 'branded' NO ONE a communist. He asked the pertinent question: "Are you now or have you ever been a member of the communist party?". A simple yes or no answer was all that was needed.

You want to have a club that brands people communist?

What would be the point?

Edit -

OK, I still want to know what is the point, but I stand corrected. Let me rephrase:

You want a club that goes around asking people "Are you now or have you ever been a member of the communist party?", along with all of the historical baggage that brings?

You shouldn't be so quick to dismiss me, because I do know of a group of people that are doing just that in the political arena, although they haven't realized it yet, or why it is not effective for them.

I would be interested via email in the details of you perspective - what are the pros (or cons if yo are trolling :) of such a club?

Because if you make even the remotest amount of sense, I can point you towards the membership of your first chapter :) (all adults by the way!)

The best thing Senator McCarthy did for this country was to die in office.
