The "vodka" won't freeze at any temps that are attainable by the individual consumer.......the water portion of the vodka will freeze, but ethanol (the alcohol matrix of the vodka) doesn't freeze unless you have a laboratory environment that can take the temperature down past 90 degrees below zero......

Vodka will definitely freeze. On a recent road trip, I had a bottle of vodka in an ice chest with 2 small blocks of dry ice. When I arrived home from the 10 hour drive, the vodka in the bottle was completely frozen. After a day in the freezer, the vodka returned to its normal state.

The freezing point of water is 0°C, the freezing point of ethanol is -114°C. Depending on what % ABV your vodka is (% is half of proof), you can figure out your freezing point.

Ex. 100 proof (50%) would have a freezing point of -57°C.

80 proof vodka will freeze at approximately -26.95C or -16.51F. 100 proof vodka will freeze at approximately -40.43C or -40.78F


alcohol's freezing point is -117 degrees

alchohol doesnt freeze dear..:) u could make like a slush out of it but it will never freeze completely...only the water content if any will freeze.
