The book is Sociology 5th Editon The Study of Human Relationships. Actually come to think of it, when I looked at the book it was copyrighted in 1995, so yes it is right to assume thing have changed

Female arrests and the 18-24 year percentages are higher than they were in 1995.

I wonder what year your book was printed, and what year they got those stats. The age seems correct, but the race and sex surprise me, especially the percentage of women, I would expect female arrests to go much higher.

Especially since most states adopted mandatory arrests laws for domestice violence, and have included substantial training in the new laws, including what constitutes an arrest.

It might be true at some point, but with the holiday season more people are stealing now, and I'm sure every year it changes. At the bottom of the Page does it tell you when those were recorded?

Yes more young white males are arrested than any other demographic. However, individual crimes would have different statistics as would individual areas.

Over all, maybe. But those stats would differ depending on location.
