My clover on my back I got when I got out of a bad relationship and considered myself "lucky" to be out of it. It's my reminder not to put myself in situations like that again and how fortunate I am.

The heart on my lower stomach was when I was finally over him and was ok with being just me. My heart was "whole" again, so to speak.

The writing on my shoulder "have faith" is my last one, and it's my life motto. A lot has been going on lately and if I hadn't "had faith" I would've gone crazy :)

the meaning behind my angel wings tattoos is that ive had a really really rough life from when i was 14 through 17. I was in the wrong places at the wrong times and things got pretty severe. im no religious nut, but i think god had part in getting me out of all of these situations because it was nothing short of a miracle that i even survived some of these incidents. I think god has good intentions for me which is why i got the angel wings.

I have a dragon on each arm - no meaning, just love dragons.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2389/1793399219_ab3051ae65_m.jpg On my right shoulder I have a shooting star imposed over a sun - this in one of a pair of tattoos of my own design, the other is a crescent moon imposed over the mirror image of the shooting star which I will eventually get high on my left shoulder blade/shoulder.
The pair are symbolic male/female. The star is the link - stars are visiable at night, the sun in the star Sol. Together the two tattoos represent me as a bisexual woman.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2279/1793399635_147abddad0_m.jpg (Pic is a little distorted) On my lower back is another of my own design, stylised black thorny vines and three red roses. The roses are from my name. I'm aware lower back tats are referred to as tramp stamps, but this tattoo is one of three (two others yet to come) - one of which is going at the base of my neck and together these will form a top/bottom border for a large dragon design. The third rose design will be my next tat and is for my left arm to make both arms more symetrical as at the moment I don't feel the balance is correct.

I have two, the first is my zodiac sign of just the outline to keep it clean and simple. Follows my personality and it's one fact about me that wont change. The second is a custom piece of a three to four inch high treble clef with caligraphy light gaps around the widest parts and a smiling monkey sitting in the bottom. Music is my life, I've played the violin since 4th grade so 9 years now and a family given nickname is being a monkey. Family history that I turned into permanent art.

my tattoo is of a fairy that i designed and drew myself...
the arms are open and point up to the sky...
I got it when i turned 18 (the day i turned 18) and i took it as a symbol that i am free now and am open to all the new things in life...when i get older and have kids(no more then 3) I plan on getting a star for each child above the fairy to represent what I have created. Since I didn't created the child on my own...I kinda want to get something next to the fairy to represent my fiancee, once we are married...BUT i'm not sure if i should, love the guy and stuff, but ya know...

I have 8 of them...all of them tell a story about what was going on in my life at that time.
My first at 16 for my birthday - a moon with a wizard face in it - just picked what was on the wall.
A purple tiger with a bink bow on her tail - 18 years old, cleaning out my room with my mom, found the pic I had drawn a year earlier wanting another tattoo - called the guy and went and got it done and hour later...time with my mom.
I ended up with two chinese dragons, one red one black, because I was married to an @sshole because I couldn't stand up to my family and say no to the wedding (long story)and dragons represent fierce personality and aggression - that was me at the time.
I have a black angel (half of the Jesus Christ Superstar symbol) on my back - getting my life back after the divorce.
I have a heart with wings on my inner wrist with lots of color - living my life as a single girl and loving it.
Flowers around one of my dragon - getting married again and being in love.
Two birds with banners that say "Gracie baby" for the birth of my daughter.
Talking about them makes me want to get more!! My tattoos tell my story I guess :)

I don't have mine yet but I'm getting it when I turn 18. It will be a Phoenix with script that says Provehito In Altum it relates to my life in the fact that the Phoenix means rebuild and the phrase means to reach forth onto the unknown. This is also the symbology of a band that has been getting me through high school as weird as it sounds.

one is the chinese symbol for strength because i have been through alot in my life and i look at it whenever times are especially hard and the other is two shooting stars on my ankle for my grandparents who passed away 2 years ago ten days apart. I really miss them and I am reminded of them everytime i look at my tattoo.

On my left forearm i have the Alpha and Omega, which is the beginning and the End. It is a bible reference meaning God is the beginning and end. On my right forearm i have a cross with archangel wings. It's meaningful to me because Archangels are strong, and the protectors; it's a reminder of what i strive to be.
