God cannot be measured nor detected, whereas radio waves can.
Double Jagermeister for me, please.

Oh right.
I see you've been reading the atheist manifesto again.
Put the book down, step away from the computer.
I have something to tell you.
Nobody aside from christians has ever said that atheists don't believe in what they can't see.
Also, it's a lot easier to prove the existence of radio waves than it is to prove the existence of "god".
Do you have a radio?
Are all radio waves a manifestation of "god"?

Who says we don't believe in things we can't see? Who told you that, another Christian? We don't believe in things in which there is no evidence. So while we can't see radio waves, we can clearly demonstrate their presence with a radio for example. We also have very clear consistant theories about electromagnetic waves that explain why there are radio waves as well. Yet there are no clear consistant theories as to why there is a god, hmm.
So yes, we believe in radio waves and your question is bogus.

Lame argument.
We see the effects of radio waves and we know the mechanism such that we can control it.
You say that you see the effects of god, but do you know the mechanism? Don't you think an understanding of the mechanism is as important or more so as the fundamental concept itself?
Could we build radios with merely the knowledge of the existence of radio waves?
You should explore the implications of your own question.

Because atheists believe in all kind of things we cannot see. We don't claim otherwise. I believe in radio waves because I can hear Sean Hannity tell me I'm going to hell.

There's no waves in my radio... there were some in my old one, but then it released the magic smoke and stopped working.
Pepsi and radios don't mix.

Radio waves can be heard, measured and detected. What's on the God Meter over here on my desk....nope, still nothing.
If Christians believe in things they can't prove, why don't you believe in all the gods and goddeses - how do you pick?

It's not just a matter of sight for atheists. It is a matter of evidence. One can mathematically deduce the effects that radio waves will have in a given circumstance, thus allowing you to know where they are and how they behave. Can you do this with God? No.

Yes I believe in radio waves.
And NO, that doesn't mean I should believe in everything I can't see. That's just stupid.

I believe in radio waves because their existence can be proven scientifically. Theistic gods cannot be proven to exist.

christian if you think your god is all knowing why is it the church began promoting the earth was flat and if it weren't for pictures taken from the moon many of you would be denying it today.... you bicker against the law of nature called evolution exactly the way earlier christians bickered against gravity.... it never made gravity go away or the world flat... you can bicker but you can't stop the truth from being heard... so those who beleived in what they see win the arguments in the end while the christians become more and more the fools of the earth....
