Traditional offerings would be ale, mead or your own blood. You don't need to go that far, though. A quiet meditation and a heart-felt thank you can be enough if you have a close enough relationship with the god/goddess.

About "How"... There are certain formalised ways how to hold a blot, but in essence you have to do three things - decide where to do it - it can be your altar, a sacred space, a ve, you can bless it with a certain rite to consecrate it
Second, you state the purpose of the blot and invoke the god/goddess - call upon him/her and ask him/her to be present at your blot. Again, there are many ways how to do that.
Third, make your offering and say your thanks.

Eir loves herbs. I would suggest growing an herb, dedicating it to her as you nurture it until maturity. Find something that's a perennial (grows for many years; not an annual that dies out totally after each growing season) and a native to the area - usually Cone flowers are great depending on where you are (if in the US). They are used for healing purposes and produce beautiful flowers. Most cone flowers also reseed yearly. Once the herb is growing well, either keep it in her name, or climb to the top of a large hill during the spring/rainy season, and plant it in the earth, again dedicating it to her.

Unfortunately the great majority of the readership here has NO IDEA what the hell you're talking about. Perhaps a re-post is in order.
