Of course not. I stopped believing in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus many, many years ago. Why some people are so selective in dismissing some mythological beings and clinging on to others I may never understand.

Not only that, I find it laughable that those who do believe in "The Devil" or "Satan" are happy to assign all the world's discontent to him. Doesn't the Bible say that God created light and dark, good and evil? Wouldn't it then make sense that God, not this devil-angel, is responsible for anything and everything that takes place in the world? He's supposed to be omnipresent and omniscient, right? All powerful? Almighty? It stands to reason that the atrocities that many of you are so quick to blame on Satan are, in fact, God's will. Right?

How many people did God kill in the Bible? How many did Satan kill? I've looked into (as have others) and it seems as though Satan might have shared responsibility in the deaths of 10 people. God, on the other hand, was responsible for the deaths of over 2 million. Seems this devil you all believe in gets a faulty bad rap.

I believe in the existance of the CONCEPT of the devil. A real physical existance - no way, no evidence, doesn't exist.

Sure the Bible tells us there is a Devil. Why do you think you are a sinner. Isaiah 14: 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Isaiah 14: 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Theologically, if you believe in God you must also accept the existence of the devil

Only the devil inside.

Nope. I don't believe in "God" (at least not the mainstream image of god) so therefore, I also dont believe in the devil, angels, heaven, hell .... It makes me laugh when people tell me I will be going to hell for thinking there is not a god, because it is an empty threat to me.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. Yeah he is out there.

Judaism doesn't have the concept of a devil as Christianity does. It has an angel named HaSatan which means The Adversary. This angel is never adversarial towards God, has never rebelled against God or seeks to take over God's kingdom, etc. This angel is the one that God sends to tempt mankind, and this angel also acts as a kind of "prosecuting attorney" when we die and he brings our Book of Life before God -- all on God's orders of course. This angel never rebells against God nor does anything on his own. In Judaism, God creates everything both good and evil, everything comes from God, there is no other besides God who does these things, as it says in Isaiah.

Christianity has taken this character out of our Torah and changed it around completely, having it rebel against God and is now the ruler of the earth. This Christian devil creates evil, and God creates good. So there are actually two gods in Christianity, one major god who creates good and one minor god who creates evil.
