Beach front casita in Mexico or Caribbean??

I am looking for a beach front small house, casita in Mexico or the caribbean for a weeklong vacation...I literally want to walk out my door and be 5 steps from the ocean....any recommendations?

Have never booked anything with them [yet!] but I recently discovered a website called homeaway.com that lists apts/condos/homes all over the world.
