Jesus never said he was god because he said he was son of god. a son can become reflection of his father by attaining some of his qualities but he cannot become his father. its like your shadow can never become what you are at present the shadow can take your shape but it can never become the person itself.
god bless you

You will not find it.
‘But isn’t Jesus called a god in the Bible?’ someone may ask. This is true. Yet Satan is also called a god. (2 Corinthians 4:4) At John 1:1, which refers to Jesus as “the Word,” some Bible translations say: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” But notice, verse 2 says that the Word was “in the beginning with God.” And while men have seen Jesus, verse 18 says that “no man hath seen God at any time.” (Authorized or King James Version) So we find that some translations of verse 1 give the correct idea of the original language when they read: “The Word was with God, and the Word was divine,” or was “a god,” that is, the Word was a powerful godlike one. (An American Translation) Clearly, Jesus is not Almighty God. In fact, Jesus spoke of his Father as “my God” and as “the only true God.”
Did Jesus ever say that he was God? No, he never did. Rather, in the Bible he is called “God’s Son.” And he said: “The Father is greater than I am.” Also, Jesus explained that there were some things that neither he nor the angels knew but that only God knew. (Mark 13:32) Further, on one occasion Jesus prayed to God, saying: “Let, not my will, but yours take place.” (Luke 22:42) If Jesus were the Almighty God, he would not have prayed to himself, would he? In fact, following Jesus’ death, the Scripture says: “This Jesus God resurrected.” (Acts 2:32) Thus the Almighty God and Jesus are clearly two separate persons. Even after his death and resurrection and ascension to heaven, Jesus was still not equal to his Father.
As for the “Holy Spirit,” the so-called third Person of the Trinity, this is not a person but God’s active force. John the Baptizer said that Jesus would baptize with holy spirit, even as John had been baptizing with water. Hence, in the same way that water is not a person, holy spirit is not a person. (Matthew 3:11) What John foretold was fulfilled when, following the death and resurrection of Jesus, holy spirit was poured out on his followers gathered in Jerusalem. The Bible says: “They all became filled with holy spirit.” (Acts 2:4) Were they “filled” with a person? No, but they were filled with God’s active force. Thus the facts make clear that the Trinity is not a Bible teaching. Actually, long before Jesus walked the earth gods were worshiped in groups of three, or trinities, in places such as ancient Egypt and Babylon.

Matthew 26:62-64 (New International Version)

62Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?" 63But Jesus remained silent.
The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ,[a] the Son of God."
64"Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Researchers aver that the claim that the Bible is "the word of God" cannot be accepted entirely. Many passages reflect Pauline Christianity!Under such circumstances, some quotation from it becomes doubtful!
Jesus has said and the Bible records that "he was the prophet sent to the tribe of Jews."
How, then, he could have said that "I am God" ?
He has also said that after my exit another "comforter" or Advocate will come and you will abide with him for "ever"!
That one was Prophet Muhammed (SAWS).

No he didnt. He in fact said that God was greater than he was. When he was resurrected he said God was "my God".
And when he said "I am"...he was just answering a question. Some people think that because God said "I am that I am" in the Old Testament, and Jesus was asked a question and answered "I am" that he's saying hes God but that in fact doesn't make any sense. If you ask me if I'm on Yahoo Answers right now and I say "I am" what does that mean?....nothing, I just aswered the question, thats just was Jesus did.

Compare these two verses, Jesus in John 4:48 saying the words 'never believe in me' and 'miraculous signs'.
48 Jesus asked, “Will you never believe in me unless you see miraculous signs and wonders?”
And God in Numbers 14:11 saying 'never believe me' and 'miraculous signs'.
11 And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt? Will they never believe me, even after all the miraculous signs I have done among them?
A belief in God means believing in Jesus.
Compare the Koine Greek John 8:58 with the Septuagint Greek Isaiah 41:4, you will notice the Greek words 'ego eimi' or 'I AM' were used in both instances describing God.
58ειÏεν αÏ
ÏÎ¿Î¹Ï Î¹Î·ÏοÏ
Ï Î±Î¼Î·Î½ αμην Î»ÎµÎ³Ï Ï
μιν ÏÏιν αβÏααμ γενεÏθαι ÎµÎ³Ï ÎµÎ¹Î¼Î¹
58Said to them Jesus: Truly truly I tell you, before Abraham became I am.
This is what God said in Isaiah 41:4.
41:4 ÏÎ¹Ï ÎµÎ½Î·ÏγηÏεν και εÏοιηÏεν ÏαÏ
Ïα εκαλεÏεν αÏ
Ïην ο καλÏν αÏ
Ïην αÏο γενεÏν αÏÏÎ·Ï ÎµÎ³Ï Î¸ÎµÎ¿Ï ÏÏÏÏÎ¿Ï ÎºÎ±Î¹ ÎµÎ¹Ï Ïα εÏεÏÏομενα ÎµÎ³Ï ÎµÎ¹Î¼Î¹
41:4 Who has wrought and done these things? He has called it who called it from the generations of old; I God, the first and to all futurity, I AM.
Finally, look up what Jesus said to John in Revelation 1:17
17When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.
And compare this with what God said in Isaiah 48:12
12 "Listen to me, O Jacob,
Israel, whom I have called:
I am he;
I am the first and I am the last.
I wish I can find more time showing Jesus is God. If you need assistance in discussing Jesus as God you can always go to one of the Christian Apologist websites like CARM.org or jehovahswitness.com where these apologists can help you with your studies.

"Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?"
"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."
"Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'? Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."
John 10:31-38
Jesus on trial:
"If you are the Christ," they said, "tell us."
Jesus answered, "If I tell you, you will not believe me, and if I asked you, you would not answer. But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God."
They all asked, "Are you then the Son of God?"
He replied, "You are right in saying I am."
Luke 22:67-70
Philip asks to see the Father:
"Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father..." Jesus answered: "___Don't you know me___, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father ... Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?"
John 14:8-10
You can reinterpret Jesus's words if you like. I understand, I did the same thing myself before I surrendered my life to him. I put all kinds of new agey spins on what Jesus was saying because I was into the occult before I became a Christian.
But if you take the bible at the plain meaning without trying to add to it guesses and conjectures, you will find the teaching is quite clear.
"Who do people say the Son of Man is?"(Jesus is referring to himself as the "son of Man" - he is asking about the rumors that are going around about him)
They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"
Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven."

Jesus said, "He who has seen the Son has seen the Father." He also publically forgave sins..displaying that He was equal with God. He performed mighty miracles and called Himself "the Resurection and the Life". He said,"I am the Way , the Truth, and the Life. No man cometh to the Father but by Me." He openly admitted to being the Son of God...

Yes, although you may find it difficult to locate in an English language Bible. In the Greek and in particular in the Hebrew, the euphemisms of the language made it clear to those who listened to Jesus that H e was proclaiming Himself to be God.
By their responses, the Sanhedrin understood that Jesus was invoking His Deity.

When Pontius Pilate asked Jesus if he was the Son of God, Jesus replied, 'You have said so. I am the Son of Man.' There are deeper meanings to these terms as they were used in that day, and the bible is full of innacuracies and deliberate misconstructions for political purposes. If you you want to understand more, read a book called 'Jesus the Man.'

He never claim this.
A mighty Prophet of God Almighty can not claim such a sharing with His Creator.
God Almighty is Unique ans has no son, no daghter, no spouse, no partnet by any means to share authority, or responsibilties.
If some one share then He is not The God but some thing else.
The God Almighty need no helper to run universe.
