Some one can help you. They're called the vet.

Your cat could have any number of diseases from diabetes to feline leukemia to kidney failure from ingestion of antifreeze. No one here will know what's wrong.

Whenever a cat stops eating that's a clear sign to get to a vet ASAP.

And if it's already been 3 days then you might be almost out of time. Stop reading this and get to a vet! Don't make an appointment, just go. They'll fit you in since it's an Emergency.

Well? GO! NOW! Save that kitty!

Those are all signs of a VERY sick cat. She needs to see a vet before her body goes into cascade failure, not eating for more than 2 days can cause very bad problems to a cat's body.

Be at the vets door when they open, don't make an appointment for 3 or 4 days from now. You won't likely have a cat to take to them by then.

My cat had similar symptoms and ended up dying of kidney failure (which can be fairly common in cats). I would call the vet immediately. It could be something else all together but I wouldn't chance it. If your normal vet is closed, by the time you read this, try to check around for a 24 hour facility. Cats acting sick at all and not eatting is nothing to mess around with. They hide sickness well (an instict to protect against predators)..so this means something has been wrong for longer than you've known it.

First of all how old is your cat? Maybe the food you are feeding her/him doesn't have enough protein to give it energy. My cat is 5 yrs. old and I only feed her Iams cat food. It may seem expensive, but in the long run your cat will feel its best for a long time. And not have any problems. It could be that your cat has a urinary infection ... to check if its sick put your hand on its chest... if it feels very warm to the touch call your vet. Another way to check gently press down on its lower abdomin if he/she cries out and or tries to bite you then it needs to see a vet. Hope your kitty/ you feel better.

I agree go to the vet as soon as possible. When health is involved, you need to move quickly. If the cost of a vet is a hardship, then I hope you have someone you can borrow money from. When my cats are sick, I would beg and borrow (but not steal) to help them get better.

Take her to the vet immediately.

How would you like it if you hadn't eaten in 3 days? There could be any number of things wrong with her & only a vet can make a proper diagnosis.

I would take her to the vet and have her checked out. She is aging so it could be from that, just as in humans. I had a cat that needed to have teeth extracted, and he was left with only 3 teeth in his mouth! he's 17 years old. there could be infection in the teeth/gums that is causing the swollen eye.

Take her asap to the vet - could be lots of things but cats are usually quite good at hiding illness so if it's that noticable it's likely quite serious. You've not really given any symptoms but could be anything from viral to heart failure. Please get the cat seen immediately.

Obvious thing you can do to help your cat, is to set an appointment with your vet ASAP. There's something that's obviously bothering her, and the longer you allow it to go on, without evaluation, the worse it may get.
