Okay so I always said I would never dress up my little terrier/chijuaja mix but............. I saw this cute little pink sweater with a faux fur collar and I just could not resist. I think she likes it , when she wears it she prances around like she is proud. So yes, I am one of those people. Have a good day

I've only had my dog since September and so far he doesn't seem bothered by the cold, so he doesn't wear a coat. My parents' dog, however, has rather short hair and gets cold in the winter, so he wears a coat when the weather calls for it. I'm fine with dogs wearing coats so long as it's to keep them warm or dry.

Not right now - it's still warm here and she's scruffy and in need of a groom.

However she does have a coat because she's known to go out and sit on the back deck and sniff the wind until she shivers (even though she has a dog door and can come in whenever she wants). So we got her a coat last year.

The same one she's been wearing since she was born - her luscious fur.

She's a Golden Retriever mix (I think), so I bet if I put a sweater or coat on her, she'd have "hat hair"... only on her back and from the clothes. I swear she gets bed head (only on her back).

And if you got it on her, then she'd start chewing. She'd think it was very nice of you to put something she could chew on in such a convenient location for her.

No, but when I lived in Seattle my greyhound wore a fleece-lined raincoat. I had it custom made for him because he was thin for a dog his size. He had short hair and little fat, so I had him wear a coat in winter.

my schnauzer has what I call her saddle blanket. It just covers her back and velcros at her neck and tummy. We keep her in a standard schanuzer cut, though (shaved back an head) so she kind of needs it on windy days.
My shih tzus dont. they have long coats and undercoats and would probably be insulted if you tried to dress them.

She used to, until we moved out into the country and she became too much of a tomboy dog.

Now she'd rather wear deer innards or goose poop.

My Chihuahua wears one, b/c she's little and gets cold easy and shivers... My two other dogs don't.
