Sure, now... Be nice! I know it is called laziness, but I also have something that prevents me from concentrating on anything! Could be add, could be high levels of stress, could be that I have been not feeling well..... I also have a ton of anxiety, and feel lethargic most of the time...

first, a clean house is a sign of boredom, a cluttered house indicates that you spend more time doing other things more important.
I go through phases with cleaning and also have those same feelings you talk about
Talk to your doctor about an anti-depressant or the like
It can get better....

Phylis Diller once said that keeping the house clean while the kids are still growing is something like shoveling the walk while it's still snowing...
You didn't say if you had kids or not, but, with the busy lives that most of us have nowadays, keeping the house clean is a problem for the majority of us. If anything, you are in good company!

Life is hard. I know the feeling beleive me. Starting a project or starting to clean is the hard part but once you start it pretty easy. All I can do is say your not alone in this. There is know secret remedy for a lack of motivation. Youu just have to try harder.

YES, i've had this problem my whole life. I try my best to clean once every week but i know that being in a clean enviornment could help you feel less stressful and anxious.

I don't understand why people rates Kallie a negative feedback but the truth is ADD is that bad.

I have that same problem too with ADD. My office room is still messy and I am a bad procrastinator.

Yes all day whenthe kids and husband are at work/school, I have to put the dirty clothes, shoes, cereal bowl, and you name it away. Why can't they put it away?

LOL. I could have ADD (I got online to check my email and got caugh up on here so long that I won't have time to eat lunch), but I keep my house pretty immaculate. So I don't know what to tell you.
