Depends on what you agree on.
If you agree with the content sign it and keep a copy. ALWAYS make a copy of every contract you sign.

If it is just a preliminary one ad to with pen and strike out what you don't like. Ad a note and return it unsigned.

ONLY sign what you know is good and you can live with for the duration of the contract and it may be wise to consult someone that actually knows what you are signing.

I would send them unsigned. What if they make changes to the agreement and don't tell you?....good way to get screwed with your pants on.
