1. if it doesn't work out you have to face each other every day at work.
2. It is hard to separate personal life from work life when you are together all day. You may try to leave problems at home but, somehow they will arrive at work too. Office gossip is a b*tch
3. You will start to question why your coworker is talking to someone else and wonder if they are sleeping together to.
4. Many companies have a policy that forbids coworkers from dating so you might want to check you jobs feeling on that or jobs could be lost.

you only need one. if it doesn't work out life is h e double hockey sticks. If you do you're taking a big chance. Yeah it could be worth it but you might want to talk about it from the get go . Talk about "if this doesn't work out then what". Can we still be civil and not try to make life miserable for the other. Don't have room for dishonesty. If someone screws up go ahead and expect the whole workplace to know full details. The whole place will know details about everything either way it goes.

2. She may gossip about you at work - which could lead to reason #1. Remember Monica Lewinsky.
3. It's unprofessional and could hurt your credibility, trustworthiness and jeopardize your chances for promotion (again, see reason #1)
