I have a Kershaw 1550 Blackout, and I like it a lot. It has assisted opening, so you can open it easily. Also check out Benchmade Knives, they have some really nice ones too.

I prefer Case XX over any other knife. I collect them and I carry them. They have a great heritage and they are made in the USA, which is important to me. They also increase in value if you do not use them. There is a very large knife store near where I live, and the case knives from the 1940s are worth thousands and the ones from just twenty years ago are worth several hundreds. They only cost $50-$100 new, depending on the type of handle and the style.
Some of the brands mentioned above are good too, like gerber and kershaw. Good luck on your search for a new knife.

RE:
What is the BEST MADE Pocket knife?
I have a Cutco and an Mtech. They are both terrible knives and I am looking for a new one.
Where can I find a great knife for under $150?
I used to have a Broten and I miss it but it was soo expensive.
I'd love to hear about your opinions and Dealers. Please include facts about the knife...

Boker/Boeker pocket knives also known as Tree Brand are great quality especially the older ones. Originally from Germany but also made in USA with good heritage. You can bid on some as low as $10-$20 on EBay and get a great knife.

SOG makes some of the best folders and fixed blades out there.
I like my Smith & Wesson SWAT folder. It was 45 bucks and is very durable.
Cold Steel is another great knife maker.
Gerber is good but that was one of my first knives and i have worked my way up from them.
I do not like swiss and leathermen. To much stuff. All I need is a blade for everyday use.
Benchmade is a good knife
Kershaw is good too.

I am big on CRKT knives. I own several of them and they are all great knives. They all sharpen easily and hold an edge very well. Most are relatively cheap too.
Bought them all at www.agrussell.com
own
m16 edc and law enforcement
m21
side hawg
desert cruiser special forces
and several others.
look for a knife with a high RC value, This value is how strong the blade is and how well it will hold an edge. 55-57 is good 57-59 is very good, and 59+ is excellent.
