Anyone that actually did it will advise you NOT to. I did and it was the worst mistake of my life. Great while it lasted, my most significant relationship so far... But then breakup time came around, and we had to see each other occasionally, always that tension, especially if they are flirting with other people, it's just horrible.
Even if the breakup is not bad or anything, it's still not good to see them after. I would strongly advise against it from my own and many others' experience.

I did one time it was kinda fun, but it was just fun nothing long term. We both ended up quitting and leaver talking to each other. So if you are just looking for a good time it could work, but I dont think it would work other wise.

As long as he isn't your boss and you are able to keep your personal life personal, it may be ok. The problem comes when/if the two of you break it off. It may become a very uncomfortable work environment.

you only live once and this could be 1 of a few things..
1-you hookup, fall in love and live happily ever after
2- you hookup, have amazing secks and then whatever
3-you pass because of the work rule and miss out on 1 and 2
which one would you choose?

Sure, why not? Of course, if things go wrong, you will have to see him everyday at work. That could be a problem.

If you have no contact it might be OK..
Never, ever, date some one you work for or closely with..
The inevitable fight will be awkward at the very least, because you still have go to work...

It would depend on whether the boss liked them or me better and what the 'rules of engagement' read like.

Some companies don't allow it. Make sure it's okay and then go for it.

If you really really really really really really like him, I say go for it. But if you're not a 100% sure, don't risk it.
