because television has isolated people from real relationships within society, therefore leading them to relate to no ideas other than the ones in their own heads.

You might be using the word "right" in a way that's not familiar to me... At least the caps seem to indicate so...
What do you mean by right?
Let's say I think 2+2=4
And you think 2+2=37.6
Now, it would appear I am in fact "right" and you are wrong, correct? Or do you mean you have the right to think whatever you like? Or that it might in fact be correct... in some parallel universe? Or does it bother you that I automatically assume my answer is right, just because it's logical?

I believe my way of thinking is correct. I do not assume this. I am open to new concepts and ideas. I am fully aware that I may be wrong. When I die, I don't know for sure what will happen to me. By the time I find out, it will be too late to change it. All I can do for now is believe in what I believe in. I am not ignorant in any way regarding religion.

Maybe they don't...they are just throwing it out there because they need a leg to stand on, so to speak...and just hoping you will respond with a new and refreshing answer?
On the other hand, all these answers you are receiving have their merit as being valued.
Its really not a matter of being right...its a matter of believing or "belief".
We all need answers and knowledge...many people dont want to read the good book...and are argumentative and dont seek goodness or kindness...this should tell you alot about their beliefs.

You are doing the very same thing now, you view anyone who assumes their way is the right way is incorrect, basically assuming your view is proper.
It is the nature of man to have an opinion.

It drives me crazy too!! I think people who think they are right all the time are selfish. Everyone thinks differently but you never learn anything unless yr open to other peoples views and opinions. Its like a form of bullying i think n its also very disrespectful i feel. To me people like this are either insecure or unhinged!!

Yeah? Well, they shouldn't, but it also shouldn't bother you, since, unless your involved in it, it isnt' really your problem. I hate people who always say theyr'e right and I'm wrong, even when I'm not, and they are, but really, it makes the problem bigger if I argue, so I just simply stay quiet.

Because their way is right - but for them, and only them. I don't appreciate it when people start pounding their ideals on me because I don't believe in what they believe in. My way works fine for me, and they can't scare me with their threats of hell.

Because everyone things they are right, and never wrong. It's what happens when we live in a society that values close-mindedness and rewards bigotry.
