I believe it is the demons if anything at all. The evangelic churches are big money makeing organizations.
They are fabiously wealthy and this brings in people hoping for a cure to their problems.
God is not preforming miracles at this time. He said after the apostles died and went to heaven the miracles would stop because that was only to show that Jesus was the true messiah.
So the ones doing it now are the fallen angels. Read Revelation 12:7 were it tells about a war in heaven where Satan and his demons were thrown out of heaven and down to our earth. To confuse and mislead people away from the truth. A lot of it is group histeria and actors preforming.
If there was a great number of people being cured of actual diseases don't you think it would make the 6 o clock news?

This man was completely paralized and now he is walking?
that would make the news.
Usually it is a disease like: Now I don't smoke anymore!
Or Now I am not despressed anymore!
Who knows if they ever did or was. It is always very unspecific things.
Kind of like saying what happens when someone dies, who has come back to confirm it?
So there fore we cannot prove what they say is false!

Not that this is always the case --- there *are* hucksters out there and there *are* people who will pretend to be struck by the Spirit so that others will think well of them, but it comes from one of two sources. It is either the Holy Spirit or the devil imitating Him. After all, those are the only two sources of spiritual power.

There are times when the Holy Spirit brings mighty revival on places and people just do things they wouldn't normally, because flesh can't be around God and slouch in its seat and yawn, you know what I mean?

As for why that doesn't happen in Catholic churches, well, I would say that's because generally there's too much paperwork between Catholics and God. Too much emphasis on tradition and not enough on relationship with God. But hey, that's my opinion, and I'm just another Christian like you.

By the by, there ARE charismatic Catholics. Do a little research and I think you'll find that protestants aren't the only ones who have ever 'fallen on the floor'.

those that have been documented have additionally been disproved, from what I even have study. Evangelists have been caught making use of on the spot earpieces, and being fed advice from greeters. Say I walk in to the revival, hoping to get healed of my kidney illness. A smiling handsome guy greets me and welcomes me. As he leads me to my seat, he asks in a discount-chatty way, what brings me to the revival and that i say I even have lupus, an vehicle-immune arthritic illness. i do no longer see the microphone clipped to his lapel, yet Brother Joe-Bob hears each little thing I say. Then, throughout the healing provider, Bro. J-B claims that "gawd" is telling him that there is a guy interior the objective audience with lupus and God needs him healed. etc. An Easter Orthodox church right here in Texas improve into caught at present too, while the government began investigating the "miracle" of a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who improve into crying genuine tears. They took samples of the tears, examined them, and located that they have been cooking oil. They set up cameras and caught a monk making use of the cooking oil with a medicine dropper. those are merely 2 i've got heard approximately and that i do no longer bypass out of my thank you to look those issues up. i'm beneficial there are plenty extra that by no ability make it to the newspapers or cyber web.

A DECEIVER WITH MANY FACES
The word “antichrist” applies to all who deny what the Bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom, and all who mistreat his followers. It also includes individuals, organizations, and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah by presumptuously promising to achieve that which only Christ can do—bring about true peace and security.

They have no power.....it is all fake

The power of VERBS compell you!

And the power of suggestion compells the protestants to act silly when worshipping. They're just doing what's expected of them, much like the whole sit-stand-kneel routine at most churches.
