I'm hoping to lose some weight (not much, just 10 lbs), but I have a problem with low blood sugar. By the time I am able to get to food, I'm so hungry that I can't stop eating it. What are some good foods that I can eat for meals and will keep my energy up, and what are some good snacks to keep my sugar up in the meantime?

high fiber carbs are the best source of long lasting sustained energy. these are foods like whole oatmeal, beans, lentils, barley, whole grain rice, peas, black eye peas, etc. these complex carbs are high in fiber which slow digestion causing a slower more sustained release of sugar into the blood stream helping to keep blood sugar and insulin levels low and stable.

protein also helps to keep blood sugar stable. each meal should have a decent portion of protein.

It sounds like your body would completely benefit from a nutritional cleanse and fat burning program. It balances out your body with nutrition. It gives you energy and can help keep your glucose levels a little more even. I'll give you some links below with more info. Email me if you have any questions. Good Luck!
